Manual Assembly Tool, Preassembly - Tube Fittings
Correct instrument tubing selection and installation are key ingredients in building leak-free reliable tubing systems. Utilising Parker's instrument grade tube with its range of fittings will help with your asset integrity program.
Correct selection and installation of instrument tubing are key to ensuring reliable, leak-free performance of instrumentation fluid systems. Instrument tubing materials and specifications need to be carefully matched to application requirements for optimum long-term performance and resistance to corrosion.
Parker is one of the world’s largest suppliers of instrumentation products for offshore applications, and Parker Grade tube has become the most popular design choice for new oil and gas instrumentation engineering projects. Compared to standard 300 series and duplex stainless steel, the material offers much greater resistance to chloride induced pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, making it ideal for applications demanding long in-service life in hostile environments. Parker Grade 6Mo tubing is also now available to complement the tube fitting offering, and will also shortly be available in conformance to NORSOK M650.
Parker's materials sourcing, manufacturing and materials science capabilities are some of the finest in the industry. We produce instrument tubing in an exceptionally wide range of materials, including 316 Stainless Steel, 6Mo, 904L, Alloy 400 , Alloy 625, Alloy 825, Alloy C-276, SAF 2507, Sanacro and Titanium. We also offer an extremely wide range of tube sizes. Our imperial tube sizes are 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" O.D., while our metric sizes are 3 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm and 25 mm O.D. There is an equally wide choice of tube wall thickness. Imperial sizes are 0.014", 0.035", 0.049", 0.064", 0.065", 0.083", 0.095", 0.109", 0.120" and 0.028", while metric sizes are 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 1 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.24 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.65 mm, 1.8 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.11 mm and 2.2 mm.
