Item Information

Parker’s poppet style check valve with integrated thermal relief is capable of flows up to 130 lpm (40 gpm) and pressures up to 420 bar (6,000 psi).  This unique thermal relief valve is designed to help protect the circuit from hydraulic fluid thermal expansion due to ambient or system temperature rise.  Additionally, this valve will also act to relieve pressure spikes due to shocks seen by the hydraulic system.  Circuit designers can also utilize a Parker supplied pilot spool to create a pilot operated check valve with the thermal relief functions.

Markets:
• Aerial
• Construction Equipment
• Forestry Equipment
• Material Handling Equipment
• Miscellaneous Industrial
• Miscellaneous Manufacturing
• Miscellaneous Mobile

Features/Benefits:
• Poppet type for minimal leakage – less than 3 drops/min
• Hardened working parts for maximum durability
• Relief feature to give thermal and shock relief
• Single and dual pilot pistons available to create pilot to open check
• Compact design
• High tolerance for contamination
• All external parts zinc plated

Applications:
• Machinery in hot work environments
• Actuators that experience high levels sun exposure
• Implements that may be detached from main hydraulic circuit for long periods of time
• Applications or machinery that contains quick disconnect couplers

Additional Technical Insight:
Can also use a Parker supplied pilot spool to create a pilot operated check valve with the thermal relief functions. This valve’s operation allows free flow from port 1 to 2 and integral thermal relief function from port 2 to 1 to protect the circuit from thermal expansion of hydraulic fluid.
