External Bypass Kits allow oil to bypass ULAC, ULOC, ULDC, and ULHC Series air oil cooler cores if the pressure drop is too high. The bypass reduces the risk of the cooler bursting in connection with cold starts and temporary peaks in pressure or flow.
Parker bypass kits protect the cooler core from pressure spikes during operation. The external bypass has a check valve that will open at a set pressure, diverting the oil past the cooler core until the pressure normalizes. There are multiple set pressures available and the kits include all necessary hose and fittings to fit the desired cooler. 3D models are also available under each selected kit which can be incorporated into the system layout.
