Item Information

Multitube® Field-Adjustable Thermostats and Temperature Controllers are used to monitor the temperature of the process tubes or observe the ambient temperature in chemical processing and refinery applications. Each thermostat is a mechanically actuated on/off switch that controls the power to an electric tracer to achieve the desired process tube temperature. The high and low temperatures are pre-set at the factory but are field-adjustable and tamper-proof, in order to meet specific application requirements and to avoid unwanted modifications to required settings. Multitube® offers four different models of thermostats and temperature controllers with varying settings and operating parameters; review the literature listed under the Product Support tab to learn more.

Markets:
• Chemical Processing and Refining

Features/Benefits:
• Field-adjustable to accommodate diverse application conditions
• Tamper proof to eliminate unwanted or unauthorized alterations to desired temperature settings
• Monitors temperature of process tubes to ensure that low/high temperatures are maintained during media conveyance

Applications:
• High-temperature gases, liquids or other process materials
• Low-temperature gases, liquids or other viscous materials
