PTFE 4:1 Heat Shrinkable Tubing
FEP 1.3/1 & 1.67/1 clear heat shrink tubing is ideal for covering medical instruments, thermometers, lighting fixtures, battery packs and other instruments where protection is needed.
California Residents: Prop-65 Warning
FEP Heat Shrink Tubing is a very clear shrink tube and easier to shrink than PTFE and operates as high as 400°F (204°C). It is supplied in an expanded state to allow easy slippage over medical instruments, thermometers, lighting fixtures and other instruments where protection is needed. As a protective cover, FEP Shrink eliminates dirt and dust build up and adds lubricity to components. Did you know that Parker offers turnkey services for Fluoropolymer Heat Shrink? Even on very difficult applications, such as copper coils, using Parker as an outsource resource for custom applying of heat shrinkable tubing eliminates kinking, wrinkles and ensures consistency every time. In addition, outsourcing reduces scrap and allows you to use the product immediately upon receipt without using additional space in your warehouse for carrying inventory.
Specialty heat shrink is available in PFA and ETFE. All heat shrink products can be supplied with etch on the inside diameter, outside diameter or both for bonding. In addition, laser marking is available for identification purposes.
