Note: This product is no longer available - please refer to the “Recommended Products” section of this page for alternative products, or contact us for further assistance.
57CR Series high collapse resistant* hose, also know as “Sea Wolf”, consists of a polyamide core tube, reinforced with a patent-pending stainless steel helix support and high tensile strength aramid fiber. The non-perforated polyurethane jacket provides weather and ultra-high abrasion resistance. The hose is suitable for marine hydraulic (salt water) environments.
“Sea Wolf” hose is best suited for offshore oilfield exploration and production applications requiring internal pressure resistance and external pressure support. The smooth bore allows for improved flow rate and low pressure drop. This hose series offers a lightweight, kink- and collapse-resistant rugged hose construction and is designed for use with petroleum, synthetic hydraulic oils, water and water-based hydraulic fluids. This hose is not recommended for high pressure pneumatic service applications.
This hose series is designed to operate at temperatures from -40F (-40C) up to +212F (+100C). The maximum working temperature for water or methanol based fluids is +158F (+70C).
Not available in lengths exceeding 800 feet.
