Full Product Description

Parker Black Eagle Light hoses feature significantly higher abrasion resistance than hoses made from common elastomer materials, promoting a longer service life and less contamination in cement oil well applications. They are also easier to handle than other 4-layer construction hoses due to the smaller O.D. and light weight, contributing to faster and easier deployment of the hose. Additionally, they feature a built in ColorGard™ sheath, giving operators easy visualization of core tube erosion for more efficient product inspections and reduced unscheduled downtime.

Parker is the only oil and gas hose manufacturer featuring ColorGard Technology. ColorGard acts as an “early warning” indicator which involves an additional colored sheath extruded between the jacket and the wire reinforcement and serves as a visual indicator to alert the end user of excessive external abrasion which has potentially compromised the operational integrity of the hose assembly. The ability to visually identify a compromise to the outer jacket of the hose alerts operators to replace the hose assembly, or in some cases repair the jacket, thus creating a safer operating environment for end-users.
