Parker's Hose Insertion Depth Blocks are a way to quickly and easily mark proper hose insertion depth for guaranteed validity each and every time.  Estimating the depth of the hose by eye can be extremely dangerous.  If the hose is not inserted into the shell of the fitting per the recommended length, the fitting can blow off.
