Item Information

The Parker Zander HDA 18 - 550 range of high pressure activated carbon adsorbers are designed to remove oil vapour from pre-dried industrial compressed air down to a remaining residual oil content of 0,003 mg/m³. They come equipped with integrated pressure gauge and an oil indicator. HDA series activated carbon towers are capable of volume flows up to 1180 m³/h in a system operating at 25 or 50 barg (362 or 725 psig).

Features
• Volume flows up to 1180m³/h @ 25 or 50 barg (362 or 725 psig)

• Oil indicator and pressure gauge included

• Provides technically oil free air for even the most challenging applications

Benefits
• Efficient removal of oil aerosols and oil vapors for highest quality air

• Extremely robust and reliable design.

Operation
Pre-dried compressed air flows from top to bottom through a single vessel containing activated carbon. Any remaining oil aerosols and oil vapors including odours and tastes are removed by the active surface area of the highly porous activated carbon to produce high quality, clean compressed air. Finally, the treated compressed air exits into the downstream compressed air network. Using an oil-indicator tube, quality checks can be carried out periodically.

Sizing and Selection
Important Note: For quoted air purity performance, compressed air filters must be sized correctly for minimum operating pressure and maximum inlet flow rate using the correction factors found in the Product Information Sheet.

Please note: The lifetime of the activated carbon filling can vary and is dependent on the contamination type and quantity and also on the humidity of the compressed air.
