Full Product Description

Automatic transmissions often have multiple high-pressure fluid circuits which require sealing. This previously required purchasing, stocking, and installing several individual seals of various sizes. The seals required sorting by size to assure they were installed in the correct locations.

Parker's Cluster Seals were developed and selected for several locations in recently developed automatic transmissions for the transportation industry. These ethylene acrylic seals successfully completed extensive vehicle testing and bench testing at temperatures ranging from -40C to 148C and pressures up to 365 PSI. Testing duration extended well beyond 2.5 million pressure cycles without any failures or issues.
