This PTO is obsolete. Chelsea 941 Series Split Shaft PTO/gear box was designed with two 6-Bolt PTO apertures for applications in which the transmission is not capable of the required torque for the application. It can be shift with air or lever.
The 941 Series Split Shaft gear box designed specifically for the Class 3 through 6 trucks with automatic transmissions and only one or no PTO openings on the transmission. This unit was designed to be mounted between the transmission and rear axle. It was an excellent choice when you need to operate more than one piece of driven equipment or more space is needed for direct mounted driven equipment. The compact design allowed up to three 6-Bolt openings to be used by a variety of Chelsea PTOs. This unit could be lever or air shifted. It featured three input /output options offering 1410 or 1500 Series flanges attached to the unit or a no flange option. This PTO is no longer available.
