Full Product Description

The HU/HUM Series Polyurethane Tubing is extruded from high durometer polyurethane which creates a tube that can handle greater burst pressures than a standard polyurethane tube. Like U/UM Series, HU/HUM Series polyurethane tubing is tough, highly kink resistant and more flexible than nylon. It is commonly used in pneumatic applications, typically in pneumatic controls requiring high flexibility, kink resistance and movement. The non-marring surface will not damage finished surfaces and PU tubing offers the best abrasion and tear resistance available for plastic tubing and it is supplied in multiple transparent and opaque colors for system color coding.

Markets:
• Industrial
• Machine Tool
• Semiconductor
• Laboratory

Features/Benefits:
• 90 to 95 Shore A durometer
• Excellent wear resistance to reduce tubing replacement
• Excellent hydrolytic stability ensures that it will not degrade when used in water based applications
• Flexible and easy to assemble onto designated fittings

Applications:
• Pneumatic controls
• Low to medium pressure pneumatics where weld spatter resistance is not required
• Vacuum equipment
• Analytical instrumentation
• Robotics
• Semiconductor equipment
• Medical and laboratory applications

Technical Specifications:
• A tube support should be used with this tubing for maximum holding power where end loading, vibration or pressure spikes may occur.
• Opaque colors are available in black, blue, dark blue, red, and yellow
• Working and burst pressures rated at 73°F /23°C
• The wall thickness is for reference only
• Packaged on reels
